The Quality Manager is responsible for all internal and external quality aspects. This includes general quality management functions of certifications, specific quality procedures and operational quality responsibilities. Following this state of the art approach of quality management as integral part of all company procedures (TQM), the Quality Manager will work with all departments for improvement processes. The Quality Manager will also head the continuous improvement process (CIP) and manage a system for internal improvement suggestions.
The Quality Manager also coordinates all safety and environmental formal aspects (HSE, OSHA, securing of cargo) and reports these functions to the board of management.
The Quality Manager directly reports to the Management Board, is responsible for the quality reporting to Kalenborn International (Germany) and participates in the quality competence team of Kalenborn International. To ensure quality, the Quality Manager has the authority to block suppliers, scrap and quarantine WIP and FGI, as well as block deliveries.
